The Abominable Snowman is also known as the Yeti according to the folklore of Nepal. The Yeti/Abominable Snowman is an ape-like creature, taller than the average human, covered in white fur/hair. It is said to roam around the Himalayas, around Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. The Abominable Snowman legend came about in 1921 when the explorer Charles Howard-Bury was on a British Mount Everest Expedition and at 21,000 feet noticed large, human like footprints in the snow. The footprints are said to be that of a grey wolf.
